Rick sits around attacking conservatives and Republicans, yet never offers any solutions. He's also an asshole. Because of that, and, more importantly, because he let us down in his first duty of writing about 24, I'm outta here.

A worthwhile criticism, Rick. But what would you recommend as an alternative? I'm sincerely interested.

As I try to point out on this site, I am not an intellectual. But we're all born with common sense and while the problems are identifiable to me, the solutions are hard to fathom. If I was carrying on a conversation with more than myself, solutions might present themselves. But since no one this far down the blogger food chain really wants to do much except excommunicate me, I am at a loss as to how to go about the task of reforming conservatism.

That's probably it. I can't stand her politics either, but she does a serviceable (though not great) job on the show. I don't see what all the loathing is about. Also, I think she's kind of cute too, but then again, I like short women.

Yeah, it's started a little slow, although I have no doubt the payoff is coming soon. The breakout of FBI headquarters last week was a nice down payment on that.
My mom is watching the show for the first time. To her, it is fast-paced and exciting. She hasn't been spoiled by the over-the-top craziness of the previous six seasons as we have.
